DJ Drama on Men’s Mental Health: ‘Who is Watching Over Us?’

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we interviewed DJ Drama about the importance of men’s mental health.

“Health is wealth,” he said. “As simple is the statement that that is — it’s so important. I mean you know and not even especially in men but just in African-American men because it just has a stigma to it,” he continued.

“We go through a lot of struggles and trauma and you know just things in our lives from things we may not be aware of.”

DJ Drama also spoke about some of the misconceptions regarding men and their mental health and discussed some of the ways he prioritizes his mental health while still maintaining a busy schedule.
