Young Thug’s dad, Big Jeff, spoke exclusively to “Kulture With K” and gave the outlet an update on how his son is currently doing.

“He’s good, he’s good,” Big Jeff said. “He’s always going to be good because of me.”

Big Jeff was seen outside Fulton County Jail wearing a “Free YSL” shirt as he walked around holding a sign that read “Free YSL. Trump & Crew Got A Bond. Young Thug and YSL face the same charges but no bond? Make Justice Fair!! We Deserve a Fair Fight Too Fani - Jeffrey Williams, Sr.”

On Thursday afternoon (Aug 24), the rapper’s dad joined the hundreds of media outlets and spectators as they patiently waited outside of the Fulton County Jail for Former President Donald Trump to turn himself in.

While most people were concerned about Trump surrendering to the authorities, Big Jeff made sure he got his message across by passionately advocating for his son.

“I’ll fight his battle,” he shared. “Mentally, he’s strong and he came from good crop so he’s going to continue to be strong because I’m going to continue to support him.”

During our interview, Big Jeff also added that he’s frustrated with how his son is being treated and that he firmly believes Young Thug isn’t being awarded the same justice or treatment as other offenders.

“I just witnessed a young man with four murders, three aggravated assaults, cruelty to their children, [and] kidnapping get a bond for $100,000,” he said.

“Here it is my son, you don’t have no charge of whatsoever they can charge him with and he can’t get a bond at least?”

According to Billboard, Young Thug was denied bond a total of four separate times by an Atlanta judge due to the “fear of witness intimidation.”

Thug has been incarcerated since May 9, 2022 after he was arrested at his Atlanta home on RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) charges.
