Primary Wave Music and The Luther Vandross Estate Slated to Release ‘Classic Christmas’ November 3

Nothing can get you into the holiday spirit quite like listening to Christmas music by the legendary Luther Vandross.
Primary Wave Music and The Luther Vandross Estate announced they are releasing “Luther Vandross Classic Christmas.”
The exclusive three-track EP will become available Nov. 3 and includes the holiday tunes “At Christmas Time," "May Christmas Bring You Happiness," and a special bonus a cappella version of “At Christmas Time.”
"At Christmas Time" and "May Christmas Bring You Happiness," initially made their appearance on the 1976 compilation album "Funky Christmas," which was originally put out by Cotillion Records.
In addition, fans can enjoy a mesmerizing a cappella rendition of “At Christmas Time” which was also selected by the designer brand Waterford as the soundtrack to their holiday campaign.
Waterford and the Luther Vandross Estate debuted a collaboration back in August in celebration of the release of the exclusive crystal collections Luther 81 and limited-edition 81X.
The “Luther Vandross Classic Christmas” EP provides a unique opportunity for an entirely new generation to enjoy these timeless classics, all written and produced by Luther Vandross himself.
"Luther's distinctive voice has been a golden thread in the tapestry of holiday music for decades,” David Gottlieb, manager of the Luther Vandross Estate said. “This release serves not only as a testament to his remarkable talent but also as a gift that keeps on giving, allowing his enchanting melodies to continue being a cherished part of families' holiday traditions."
Shortly after the news was announced, fans began to share their excitement about the upcoming release.

“Oh I need this. His voice is just perfect,” one fan penned on Instagram.
“We will love Luther forever.”
