Marc Anthony Receives Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

Marc Anthony received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star on Thursday as he was surrounded by family and friends in honor of his legendary recording career.

The singer was honored for his decades of success and contributions to Latin music. Throughout his career, he has earned more than 50 Billboard No. 1 hits, four Grammys and nine Latin Grammys, according to Audacy.

David Beckham was among the list of star-studded guests who helped Anthony celebrate this major accomplishment. The two have been long time friends for over 20 years and the “Preciosa” artist is also the godfather to the soccer player’s son Cruz.

"This is a symbol of keep doing what you're doing," Anthony said, per ABC News. "I feel like I just started... this is just the beginning."

"Never change. You are a special talent but you are even more a special person," Beckham added. "Enjoy this moment because you have earned all of the love and respect that you feel here today."

In addition to earning his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, Anthony also announced he is slated to kick off a new concert tour come November and fans can expect an all-new album next year.
