Yo Gotti Says He Always Knew CMG The Label Would Be Successful

Yo Gotti and DJ Drama teamed up back in 2006 for their first Gangsta Grillz “I Told You So” and now 17 years later the dynamic duo is back at it again for “I Showed You So.”

During an exclusive interview with the outlet, the rapper discussed what it means to him to defy the odds and to still be dominating the charts two decades in.

“Man, it feels great,” he told us. “I mean, the title speaks for itself, you know, back then I was trying to tell the world what I was going to do and now I’m telling the world what I’ve done.”

Yo Gotti's journey through the rap industry has been nothing short of inspiring.

From his early days crafting music in the streets of Memphis to his rise as a prominent figure in hip-hop, Gotti's resilience and authenticity have solidified his place in the hearts of millions.

With hits like "Down in the DM," "Rake It Up," and "Recession Proof," Yo Gotti not only managed to be a successful rapper but he’s also the CEO to one of the hottest record labels in the industry — CMG The Label.

“I saw it even bigger so we still got more work to do,” he shared. “It’s got to be bigger than what it is now.”

Yo Gotti also spoke about the Memphis rap sound taking over and what he plans to do going forward in his career.
