Tego Calderón Makes Major Comeback With ‘La Receta’

El Original Gallo is back and fans are hoping it’s for good.
It’s been eight years since Tego Calderón released his last album and seven years since his last single. However, the Puerto Rican legend has officially returned with an all-new single called “La Receta.”
Although the artist is widely-known for making records about race, class, history, and social justice, “La Receta” is about “a particular woman who is exactly what the doctor prescribed.” The Alejandro Pedrosa directed music video features Calderón at a golf course in Puerto Rico gearing up to play a few rounds accompanied by a few female friends.
In addition to new music, Calderón is slated to headline Baja Beach Fest in Rosarito, Mexico, this August alongside Don Omar and Wisin y Yandel.
