Offset and Quavo stunned fans around the world after the two reunited for a surprise performance in honor of Takeoff at the BET Awards.

The unexpected reunion took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 25) as they kicked off their set with a performance of “Hotel Lobby.” The powerful tribute also included an enlarged image of Takeoff as the duo took center stage.

Sunday night was the first time Offset and Quavo performed together since the rapper’s untimely passing. Although both men have been feuding for a while now, fans and attendees were happy to see them put their differences aside for such a big moment in hip-hop.

Once the crowd noticed both Offset and Quavo were on stage, everyone jumped out of the seats and began to shout and sing along in excitement.

Shortly after their performance, Offset’s wife Cardi B took to Twitter to share her reaction.

“I can’t take it right now… proud of my boys,” the “WAP” rapper tweeted.

Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was fatally shot on November 1 at a local bowling alley in Houston. He was 28.
