Beyoncé and Jay-Z Purchase $200M Mansion, Most Expensive Home Ever in California

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are flaunting their wealth in a major way.

The couple bought the most expensive home ever sold in California after dropping a whopping $200 million for their new mansion, according to TMZ.

The 30,000-square-foot Malibu property was designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who also created Kanye West’s $57.3 million mansion he acquired during his divorce from Kim Kardashian, per Page Six.

The home was previously owned by art collector William Bell and took him 15 years to build. Beyoncé and Jay-Z also reportedly sealed a sweet deal on their property being that it was actually listed for $295 million.

This investment reportedly is the second most expensive real estate contract in the country, as a New York City apartment was previously sold for $238 million.
